Evaluation Grants for Peer Support in Diabetes Care

This present call for proposals focuses on Evaluation Grants to build the case for peer support in diabetes management. These grants will use controlled research methodologies to study and document the contributions of peer support interventions for those with diabetes.

Grantees will work collaboratively with Peers for Progress leadership to plan and implement controlled evaluations of peer support programs among adults with diabetes. Individual applicants will propose, implement, and publish results from their own evaluation projects. They will also work in a consortium with other grantees, Peers for Progress leadership, and a Program Development Center in collaborative papers reporting the results of their projects and in making curricula and program materials available for international dissemination.
